Effective Debriefing for Maximum Improvement

As coaches, one of the most important skills we can develop is to enable effective performance debriefing.

Steve Lefkowitz is a national and world champion skydiver with over 14,000 skydives and over 16 years in the sport. In addition to his own training, he has coached teams and individuals at all levels, and in that time he has developed specific, actionable strategies to ensure his students get the most out of every debrief.

In this fun and informative talk, he'll be sharing his framework for:

1. Defining goals for performance

2. Reviewing the performance

3. Analyzing the results of the performance

4. Developing a plan to move forward

Speaker: Steve Lefkowitz

Steve Lefkowitz graduated with a chemical engineering degree from MIT in 2000. After 9 years as a management consultant, he quit his "real" job to become a full time competitive skydiver. In that time, Steve has become a multiple time national and world champion, with over 14,000 skydives and 16 years in the sport. At the same time, he and his wife built a successful skydiving coaching business that works with students and teams at all levels, focusing on both technical skydiving skills as well as team dynamics and peak performance.
