ICF Philadelphia is thrilled to offer Coaching to the Core: A Training Series on the New ICF Competencies as part of our 2021 Community of Practice series. Lisa Pachence - PCC, Owner of LP Coaching, Mentor Coach and Speaker - will lead an engaging 4-part series that introduces the new ICF core competencies, and helps coaches deepen their client impact using the competency framework. These quarterly virtual meetings include 15 minutes of networking with attendees and 1.5 hours of active application of the ICF Core Competencies.

Session 1: Setting the Foundation - April 1, 2021 (1.5 Core)

Session 2: Co-Creating the Relationship - Tuesday, June 22, 2021 (1.5 Core)

Session 3: Communicating Effectively - Tuesday, September 28, 2021 (1.5 Core)

Session 4: Facilitating Learning and Results - Tuesday, December 7, 2021

This Core Competency series is designed to Engage, Enlighten, and Elevate your relationship with the core competencies and, consequently, your coaching practice. Expect to:

1)    ENGAGE with the new core competencies, with your colleagues, and with common client challenges to deepen the agility of your coaching.

2)    ENLIGHTEN yourself with the intention behind each competency, seeing how the art of coaching comes to life through this new framework.

3)    ELEVATE the power of your coaching by revealing new insights, enhancing your skills and confidence, and acquiring new methods to increase your impact and strengthen your stand as a coach.

To deliver the highest level of professionalism and impact in coaching, the new ICF Core Competencies were developed in 2019 and implemented in 2021. The Eight Core Competencies now provide a stronger and clearer framework to the ethics, agreements, trust-building, and partnership that are fundamental to the coaching industry. Understanding and integrating the core competencies is a crucial part of a coach’s continuing professional development, and participation will earn Continuing Coach Education credits.
