Core Competency #7: Direct Communication-
“Saying what is so.” “Speaking your truth.” “Sharing.” “Straight talk.” What’s so difficult about this? However, Direct Communication is often difficult for coaches, especially newer coaches. Often coaches are concerned that they will step on your clients’ toes, be perceived as harsh, or are afraid they might be leading or giving advice. So, don’t be dismayed. If you’re having difficulty with this competency you’re in good company. Let’s examine it together and learn the positive power and transformational potential of sharing what you are observing, sensing, perceiving, or intuiting. It’s rather easy, once you get the hang of it...and...the effect is profound!
